March 19th, 2015

It is with a heavy heart that on Sunday, March 15th Jessica Stone – the woman who inspired the character Charlotte Goode in HEAR – passed away after years of suffering from Neurofibromatosis Type II. Throughout my teenager years and my early twenties, I've dreamed of meeting this wonderful and talented young woman to tell her in person how much she has shaped me into the writer that I am today. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure to meet Jessica in person to tell her this. My heart goes out to the family and friends who were close to Jessica, and I wish them all the very best. You can view her obituary or send a condolence message here.
